Outreach Ministries

We at New Hope Baptist take our responsibility for the Great Commission
(Matt. 28:19-20) seriously.
We reach out into our community in order to share the Gospel of Christ with those around us.

Chambers Park Bible Study

This is a Bi-weekly Bible study done at the Vetrens housing unit in Marion, IN called Chambers Park. There is a growing group of  veterans which join us bi-weekly as we study through various books of the Bible. Residents are picked up every Sunday to join us for church.

Monthly Events
From Sing and Scoop with the Corvette Club, movie nights, neighborhood nights, tailgating at the Mississinewa Football games, or an annual First Responder Appreciation dinner we try to have monthly events where we can invite friends to experience the love of Christ in action.

Mobile Easter
In seeking to do Easter differently we have developed three teams which go out to three different local nursing homes and worship our Risen Savior with the people there. All the teams return to the church and come together in a service of celebration and worship for all to enjoy.

3rd Sunday's at Twin Cities Health Care
We as a church have taken on as one of our ministries the 3rd Sunday service of Twin Cities Health Care. This nursing home provides an afternoon church service for its residents every Sunday and we are able to help out with this vital ministry.

Vacation Bible School
Every summer we seek to share the love of God with the children of our neighborhoods. We play games, sing songs, have snacks, and hear some great stories from the Bible. Kids are sure to enjoy!

Children Ministry
We love kids at New Hope Baptist Church!

Sunday School

Sunday School meets on Sunday Morning from 9:30-10:15.  The purpose of Sunday School is to point children to the truth of Scripture!  We do this by teaching them the truth of Scripture, giving them a Biblical view of the gospel, and helping them to apply the gospel to their everyday lives.  (Check out Growing Faith by Regular Baptist Press to find out what our K-5th Grade Teachers are using as their curriculum.)

Junior Church
Junior Church kids join their families for the worship portion of our service and are dismissed before the sermon.  All kids k-5th grade are welcome to join us! We desire to point children toward the priority of worship through Junior Church.  In Junior Church, your children will learn about the character of God, they will learn how to find any given passage in Scripture, and they will learn how to make application from any given passage of Scripture.

Awanas
Awanas meets during the school year and will start Sept. 19th! Awanas is on Wednesday Nights from 6:30-8 PM.  Our goal is that Awanas will POINT children to the importance of their faith.  Their faith will become important to them as they learn about the key areas of their faith, memorize Scripture, and learn how to defend what they believe.  Awanas is for kids in prek-5th grade.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Every year we invite the children of our church community and the community at large to come and experience the fun of learning the stories of the Bible and applying them to their lives. This is a great time of learning and growth.

Ignite Youth Ministry

Ignite Youth Group (grades 6th-12th) exists to glorify God by helping families train their teens to go out and turn their world upside down for the cause of Jesus Christ! We meet every Weds night from 7-8pm with special events monthly. WE WILL BE CHANGING OUR TIME TO 6:30pm-8pm starting Sept. 19th!
